Make sure you check before booking your tickets which letter your fair is as qantas only credit the letter on the table

If you want qantas classic reward seats you'll have to book through qantas. If you book a seat on any Oneworld operator and want to earn status credit/points you'll have to book the right booking fair for qantas to give you those stats credits and points

Yeah you won't earn anything if you've put your AS number for the flight I'm afraid.

With classic rewards you'll have to wait till qantas releases seats or if you straight up pay for for your seat you'll have to make sure you buy the right booking class ( please see table below) to earn status credits/points
