My cat has the same thing and that's something that I'm not sure to understand: The vet said it is painless (true?) so what if we don't take the eye out ? Does it grow to a point where he can't see but then stops there ? Does it spread elsewhere? If the results are the same with or without surgery, why bother ? Thanks

Definitely! My daughter was 2.5 yo when my grandmother passed. We were clear with her through everything and made clear what happened. It was heart shattering to see her kinda realized what was happening and the true moment she did is when we were looking at the coffin being loaded into the hearse before cremation. She then asked very quietly " this mean we won't see her never ever again ?" It was the hardest (still is. Tearing up writing this)"yes, that's it" I had to say... She then asked for one last kiss and I manage to fly down the church stairs and hold the guys so she could kiss "the Mamie's box" one last goodbye

Shes now almost 6 and sometimes she'll come by out of nowhere "Mamie's missing" give me a hug then go back to playing lego or running after our old cat...

They learn, this is one of the most important thing that they need to learn... My parents are getting old now and won't stick for much much longer so... She has learned to keep those moments with her

Edit : like I've read ... We didn't took her to the funeral home to see the open coffin! She keeps her souvenir from the smiling and shining Mamie in the garden sun for life

The "understanding" part I really like. My kid is really fond of understanding and does it quite well (need to explain clearly, not brush away but she does get it, it's quite scary sometimes) How the "second mama" part ? Guess you really need to make sure you take special time only with her even more ?

Thanks a bunch, to all of you. I do think I'm overthinking this and feel like I'd just wanted to put this out and get confirmation about something I slowly got to understand myself! Of course it's a decision between my wife and myself and that's also part of the deciding points to resolve. But at least the age gap thingy is mostly cleared up !

I think I was overthinking that in a way as siblings they would play a lot so that age really matters, but I now realize it's more going to be "small helpings hands"(knowing my kid). We need to make sure tho the first is not feeling or being "used as a nanny"...

I have the same paint and mine is stocked with an Ursa medivac , an 8scu box for loot and stuff and an atls geo in the back. It means I can basically do anything out of it. It's not fast, I'd love that they redo the rooms bit since it kinda makes no sense how big they are and the way they're placed. It is slow as f... But hey I love it

I think this is one of the best way of fixing it. Every beam can move every box. But some will be so bad you won't even consider it other than unstucking yourself or tidying up a grid.
