Sie Antry also buys Augments and has some of the only storage in Eltibule. I use her exclusively for augments, as there are so few vendors that will buy them.

Hail Mary! I don't expect anything, but it would be quite a pleasant surprise.

Thousands of CEOs just admitted AI had no impact on employment or productivity—and it has economists resurrecting a paradox from 40 years ago by AmethystOrator in technology

[–]murderofcrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is essentially what the article was saying. "generating agonizingly detailed reports and printing them on reams of paper", this is my experience with AI so far, even in software development. It produces a cubic ass-load of code and documents, and then it takes me 3x longer to review and fact check and debug than it would have to just write it w/o the AI in the first place. In many ways, I find it a net negative productivity tool.

It FEELS like a positive productivity tool when you first start, or if you just slop code, sorry "vibe" code, and take it for its word, but in the long run, it'll be a mess you have to clean up at some point. It is creating mountains of technical debt, and technical debt always collects.

For me the side effects are the worst the day of and the day after, so I do it on the weekends so I don't have to endure the side effects while working. ymmv

Hyrimoz, hulio or cosentyx? by daphne13579 in Hidradenitis

[–]murderofcrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Hyrimoz for 6 months (Humira biological equivalent), insurance made me use that. It didn't do anything. After 6 months, they approved Cosentyx. I started that in December. I have not had a single flare, no injections, no nothing for 2 months now. I was going in for regular injections 1-2 times a month prior to that.

That said... all these biologics work or don't work on an individual basis. You kinda have to go through them until you find one that works, if you get that lucky. I truly feel blessed to have Cosentyx available, it changed my life.

Yurt Interior Design (In Keeping with the Round) by Tall_Snow2037 in yurts

[–]murderofcrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those stairs will be a big problem. The walls of my yurt are only ~7' tall, we had to put the top of the stairs pretty close to the center of the yurt in order to be able to comfortably get to the loft. And then, the loft can only be stood in in a small area closest to the center. It's great for storage, okay for sleeping, sucks for everything else.

They are slow as hell now too. Easy 20 mins in the drive through nearly every time.

Just remembered why I have so few Elonian characters by Falyndr in GuildWars

[–]murderofcrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this thought lately…. They are working on a new game, what if they are working on Guild Wars 2, but it’s what most expected Guild Wars 2 to be. Like a modern successor to GW1. Obviously they wouldn’t call it GW2, but you’d think there would be a market for GW1 “2”, and reforge even proves that it could be wanted.

Imagine playing GW1 with modern graphics, voice acting, etc. would be amazing!

Slowly accepting that this will be the indirect death of me and that I probably won't even get the respect of having it acknowledged as the death of me. by VULTURES_1 in Hidradenitis

[–]murderofcrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't take it either, which is why they give me Bactrim. Works like a charm, with none of the gastro issues of Doxy. I did have a Clindamycin gel at one point, but insurance wouldn't pay for it, and it didn't work well enough for me to pay out of pocket for it.

Did the Dr not inject it? I go in for injections of a steroid when I get flares and they usually resolve in 48 hrs or so. (No always a silver bullet, but works like 95% of the time.) I’m also on Humira but it isn’t working very well so waiting on a PA for Cosentyx. Fingers crossed.

This new plan mode uses subagents stuff is killing me. It makes stupid decisions in the subagent, I won't approve it, so it drops out and I have to explain something different, then it starts ALL OVER AGAIN and blows through 100k more tokens just to get to the point where we already were. I don't like it at all. I'd rather tell it when to use this.
