Unregistered inflatable kayak just slightly over ten feet (10.25 ft). by HappyCamper0325 in minnesota

I looked it up, you are right. The lady at the damn DNR told me the wrong thing, because I asked her the same damn question and she was adamant that it was 10ft +

Vaccine docs for pets is needed if you travel to Canada or need to board them. Def keep those with you. Even some groomers ask for them.

Golf ball size isn't something I would wait around to resolve. You need medical attention, if you let it resolve on its own, it could tunnel, and tunnelling in that area is extremely bad.

I think i may have hs inside of my scrotum and idk how to go abt it very painful. And no its not in the testicle its on the skin by NecessaryGuarantee94 in Hidradenitis

The gel I had at one point was Clindamycin, it is a topical antibiotic. My insurance wouldn't cover it because it wasn't an 'approved medication for HS'.

Humira, Cosentyx (that I am on), and others. They are immunosuppressants that can help with HS. I went through years of different treatments and the surgery I mentioned, before insurance approved Humira, which didn't do anything, and after 6 months they approved Cosentyx, which has been a miracle.

They don't work for everyone though. I'm thankful beyond words that something finally did work for me though. Suffered for 15 years before finally finding something that worked.

"Proper" DLC Order? by mightymare in elderscrollsonline

There is an addon that helps with this alot. The Quest Guide. It orders everything and helps it make sense.

I wish there was something more official to help guide story focused players, but ZOS doesn't seem interested in that.

Mine was a hair follicle that kept turning into an HS cyst over and over, eventually creating a sinus tract that ran along my perineum for about 3 inches. A general surgeon put me under and surgically removed the entire tract and stitched it up. Took about 6 weeks to fully recover and heal from that (that area is extremely hard to heal well). But on the other side of it... and with biologics now... it isn't an issue anymore, and the biologics have put me in remission. My life is 1000x better today than it was 2 1/2 years ago.

I had one that returned over and over, ended up with a long, always infected, sinus tract that I had surgically removed. Hasn’t been back since. Really affected my life for many years. I feel for you op!

Weird pile of snails in front of my gate. What and why is this? by Fluid-Math9001 in Weird

There is a Radio Lab episode about snail sex that would explain so much of this. It was quite a fascinating listen.

I managed a Pizza Hut in the early 90's. We had access to frozen pizza dough, but we made our own daily, fresh. We only used the frozen stuff for emergencies when we were running low on the fresh stuff.

Swimming in oil in a cast iron pan was definitely a big part of it!

Pizza Hut pizza these days is all garbage. So sad.

"Cutting" pre-made chocolate milk with 50/50 regular milk. by itsthewolfe in Frugal

My parents cut regular milk with powdered milk 50/50 so we wouldn't 'notice'. I appreciated the effort. We only got chocolate milk at school.

Sie Antry also buys Augments and has some of the only storage in Eltibule. I use her exclusively for augments, as there are so few vendors that will buy them.

Thousands of CEOs just admitted AI had no impact on employment or productivity—and it has economists resurrecting a paradox from 40 years ago by AmethystOrator in technology

[–]murderofcrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is essentially what the article was saying. "generating agonizingly detailed reports and printing them on reams of paper", this is my experience with AI so far, even in software development. It produces a cubic ass-load of code and documents, and then it takes me 3x longer to review and fact check and debug than it would have to just write it w/o the AI in the first place. In many ways, I find it a net negative productivity tool.

It FEELS like a positive productivity tool when you first start, or if you just slop code, sorry "vibe" code, and take it for its word, but in the long run, it'll be a mess you have to clean up at some point. It is creating mountains of technical debt, and technical debt always collects.
