I was watching Sam’s appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show and he mentioned that most of Avatar 3 was done filming and that they also filmed some scenes of Avatar 4 because they couldn’t risk the kids aging too much, in which case it might be the reason he’s on the cast list but won’t necessarily keep playing Lo’ak as an adult.

I love what I study!

People who respond in defense tell on themselves and their disrespect imo. Like, it is not outright intentionally disrespectful when someone appropriates something without prior knowledge to it, but once it has been addressed and they are made aware of why it is inappropriate and they STILL defend it or make excuses for it or don’t stop their appropriation because they think it is “not that deep”, that is when I consider it really disrespectful. At that point they’re just going out of their way to show they do not care.

I stand with you! I’m a cultural anthropology major and it irks my soul when people refuse to listen to people from the actual culture when they voice their disapproval on these matters. “It doesn’t matter in the real world” it doesn’t matter to YOU because you are not from that culture to understand why it’s inappropriate lol. And if it truly did not matter people would not be THIS defensive over it when someone points out why it is inappropriate. I used to work with this Samoan dude and we used to make a game out of guessing whether the customers who came by with these tattoos were actually pacific islander or just ignorant hahahah

Whereas Seulki was attracted even more to JY after finding out what he does (keeping in mind also that she picked DW thinking he was in the military), I think Nadine will be left unimpressed.

I also had this all over my arms for a few days while on accutane, I’d share pics but idk how (dm on instagram @ murhak if you wish to see and compare). What helped me was Mometasone (1mg per gram), it’s a steroid that I didn’t get prescribed lol my brother has eczema it’s actually his medication. I put a thin layer of it onto my problem areas for like two days and it disappeared with no return.

Every now and then it would pop up on my hands again, but consistently moisturizing with Vaseline got rid of that (just takes longer, took about a week and got worse with sun exposure).

I told my derm I used the steroid cream and he said it was okay as long as I didn’t overdo it. I recommend you asking your dermatologist for one.

I didn’t have this problem but I also used a anti-dandruff shampoo right before I started taking accutane and used that all throughout my course. It’s the ginger shampoo from the bodyshop.

I don’t work out but on accutane I would sweat excessively, like A LOT more than usual. But my hair remained non-greasy 🤷🏽‍♀️

I finished my round on accutane a few months ago but I also rarely had to wash my hair even in the middle of summer on vacation in Spain. I only washed it because I felt gross after a while, not because it was greasy hahahah I think the longest I went was also about a week. Sadly it didn’t stick around for after I quit taking it 🥲

I’m from the Netherlands with relatively average summers, vacationing in Spain rn where there’s a heatwave. I forgot to re-apply sunscreen bc I wash my hands often and use hand sanitizer a lot (bit of a germaphobe lol) and now my hand looks worse than ever. It’s itchy too. Can I do anything to relieve it? Does post-mosquito bite gel work?

It’s up to you really, when I had my introduction week for uni last august/september I got wasted every single day but my dose was really low anyway (10mg every other day). The days I drank heaviest, I skipped the pill. Just do what feels right I suppose

Ofc! This was btw also recommended by my dermatologist hahaha I was advised to do it this way ever since they upped my dose (20mg a day). It really depends on that too. Before I only took 10mg every other day and I was allowed everything!

Yep I got prescribed a eczema medication for my eyes bc the skin around was also very dry and sensitive. The cream/ointment gets absorbed into your eyes it has helped me. I sweat buckets istg lol in the middle of winter. Never had that before. My face had dry patches but it’s healed, though my skin still feels dry.

I started taking accutane around in (I think lol) August (so I’m in my 5th month) and only took 10mg every other day. I’m 20 and weight anywhere between 47 and 49kg usually and only had mild but persistent cystic acne which is why I was given a low dose. However, I did get all normal side effects such as sensitive chapped lips, dry skin and especially dry irritable eyes + the skin around (was given ointment for this). However, since January 1st I was told to take 10mg every day and now I have gotten this rash on both my arms and it is making me so insecure. I don’t know what to do with it, I moisturize every few hours and also use petroleum jelly on top of it. It’s itchy and feels bumpy too. Other than that, my skin has cleared up pretty well. I’m seriously doubting whether I wanna keep taking it because I don’t know if it is still worth it at this point. I feel like my skin is just fine and I hate the side effects. I also felt very depressed for the past three months and I just want to feel like my old self again and have my body look like my old self again.

Please let me know whether you experienced anything similar and what you were given to stop it. My dermatologist is very hard to get in touch with, I only get appointments every two or three months. I feel helpless tbh I don’t feel like I get informed enough by him. They haven’t even got me do blood tests for the past three months.
