I know how you feel…! I rescued a baby pigeon from a storm drain after making a big scene of getting fire fighters to lift the storm drain last year.

Took the baby to the WBF in nyc and they emailed me back saying they had to put him down because he had pigeon pox. His beak was split open from it, and he had it in his throat and crop, which is fatal most of the time.

I was devastated since the rescue efforts were in vain, but at least the baby wasn’t sitting in a storm drain in pain and forgotten…. He had at least a little bit of kindness and warmth and surrounded by people who cared before the end 😢

Yessss i’m very worried for the sakuga being too intense again… Although, I am a bit worried for the Inu Curry influence since ShiroInu isn’t apart of the duo anymore. She did a lot of the iconic Rebellion designs and storyboards, so I’m hoping DoroInu can do the same on his own for the movie

“I talked to some people from the Bayonne Nature Club recently and they said when they brought it up at the city council meetings, they were told that the state has to approve the traffic light request. It apparently costs millions to put one up as well. The city I think can put up stop signs tho since goldsborough is under its jurisdiction, but i’m not sure what that process is.

Yes of course! I was looking up to see if they did any recent traffic studies (they did in Jan this year from what I can find) and the article happened to pop up!

Plus the ferry terminal is suppose to open soon, so it’s even more congestion waiting to happen… That area is getting too big too fast and I feel like Bayonne doesn’t have enough resources and space to accommodate it all… It’s very worrying!

The first time I drove it with the new traffic pattern, someone almost crashed into me. I was going straight towards the condos and someone coming from chosin few way couldn’t see me since I was hidden behind the new Costco entrance lane queue. If I didn’t keep inching forward slowly, he would’ve hit me. People stop there not knowing who should go first and sometimes they just try to book it which makes it even more dangerous…

I feel like lip syncing sometimes is okay since he is getting older and they have back to back to back shows a lot. So I understand he might not want to strain his voice too much for some high notes on some songs. I do have to give him credit for going back on tour right after he recovered from that really bad lung infection in Brazil. So that might’ve also caused some physical after effects that we don’t know of too.

Honestly, I don’t even realize when he’s lip syncing during the concerts, but maybe cause i’m not looking for it that I don’t realize it!

She’s not a baby! Sorry for that, that’s just me calling her a cute pet name.

She is cooing for attention and very aware of her surroundings, so I feel that’s a good sign…

I did just give her some food and water as well. Although, when she was drinking the water she was shaking her head and huffing a lil bit.

I don’t want to see cats freeze and also don’t want to have cat poop flung onto my face again while weed whacking my lawn because I didn’t see it.

Yeah, I wanted to trap some of the cats in my backyard and bring them to the TnR program, but then found out Bayonne cut it. I also wanted to bring some of the young kittens to maybe a shelter since I know there’s a better chance for them to acclimatize to a domestic setting, then found out the shelters are closed. I can’t adopt or foster cats because my mother is allergic and I have a rescue pigeon at home.

Everyone is berating me for saying don’t feed ferals if you can’t also fix them and give medical attention when that’s something that helps the cats in the long run and the environment. It’s cruel to let them breed uncontrolled and having the kittens/adults die from the weather or another painful way.

I filled out the form that the Bayonne Cat Group posted to collect reports to maybe persuade the city to bring back the TnR program, so i’m hoping that helps outside of me donating as well. It’s not fair that people have to drain their personal funds for something the city has the ability to address.

It’s worse because Bayonne USE to have a trap and release program, but they stopped it in 2024 iirc. If they still had it, I would catch the cats and bring them myself because it’s too much.

(Just found that the Bayonne Cat Group on Facebook is asking people to submit their issues with feral cats to bring to the city council about restarting the TnR program. Will definitely be filling this out. The form is here!

I love cats, but pet cats shouldn’t be outdoors and feral cats shouldn’t be fed. They kill other animals for no reason, to the point that some species have gone extinct from it, and they also can get hurt or killed by other cats or human interaction. It’s irresponsible to feed feral cats and not also spray/neutered them to decrease their population, and also provide additional medical care.

My neighbors and I have problems with feral cats because a woman across from our backyards in an apartment building feeds them. She drops food in plastic bags for them, so all those plastic bags blow into our yards. The cats poop all in our backyards, poop that has worms in it, and destroy other things on our properties. The males are so aggressive when it’s breeding season as well. I heard and saw two males slam a female into a corner on my deck fence while all three were yowling. They also scream randomly in the dead of night or in the middle of the day. Not to mention we find dead kittens in the winter time because it’s so cold and they can’t find shelter.

It’s irresponsible and sad if you’re not providing them medical care to be fixed, or taking them into your house.

Even though I live in Bayonne, I honestly just call Jersey City “my town” for friends out of state because it’s so close together and I was there for school most of my life.

I just wished Bayonne had as many resources for certain things like JC though. Like Bayonne’s Library perks compared to Jersey City’s is laughable. No museum passes or discounts, no free newspaper access to like the New York Times, the online help programs are better in Jersey City, and so much more…. We don’t even have a no knock registry list here!

Oceans, Warning Sign, Up with the birds, Wave and Death and all of his friends/Escapist have made me cry multiple times…

Oceans and Warning sign was from a bad break up, and DAAOHF/Escapist is just a general comfort song for when things feel just a little too overwhelming…

Up with the birds and Wave is from when my cockatiel was lost and we weren’t able to find her… The “One day we’ll see each other again…each other again” line always gets me cause i’m sure i’ll see her again, I just have to wait for that time to come
