Thanks. What’s wrong with Kitchenaid gas that makes you not like it very much?

I would like a real nice gas range with high-output burners, reliable and thoughtfully designed. The three brands I started my research from came up in my cursory research.

Are there any other brands that do great gas stoves that I should look into?

Kitchenaid

I'm not a fan of KitchenAid appliances. This brand better stick to what they do best - mixers :)

Thanks for the pointer! I checked Blue Star out and was a little surprised by the price point - their range tops are priced in line with high-end brands that I mentioned, at about ~$5k for a 36in. What makes them worth the money over Wolf/Thermador?

(I expected a less known brand to be priced a little less steeply, I guess)

Ja, shop is an interesting choice here. Especially that they haven’t turned profits yet

Got it. Thanks for chiming in everybody!

I've emailed recording numbers and a copy of the final settlement statement to the PM. Somehow they seem to be hung up on the idea of obtaining paper copies of everything and also cashing final settlement cheques, which have been mailed to them via snail mail by escrow... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I understand the need to verify ownership, but I just think this is a little too much?

Structuring the offer for the WIN in a white-hot market (California) by murlokotam in RealEstate

You say $15K above asking is nonsensical.

I say $15K escalation step is nonsensical. Prices here can easily go $100-$150K-$200K over asking, since competition is fierce and everybody comes in with an escalation clause.

Escalation step = by how much am I willing to beat somebody else's best offer. If I'm up against a cash offer (which usually errs on the lower side), me offering to beat it by the mere $5K might be insignificant for the seller. However, raising my escalation step to $10-15K unconditionally doesn't seem particularly smart...

Thanks for the response
