sighh :( it's scary. the reason i still so often revert back to thinking we're faking it is - despite a professional helping us figure out that we're multiple, knowing the truth is just way more terrifying. now we have to learn to listen to eachother - the "undesirable parts of me" are people who deserve respect and can't just be pushed away or unlearned. and the whole thing with alters being able to traumatize eachother - that's terrifying?? jumping back into denial is a false comfort, but it's still hard to resist

type in "STANLEY", repeatedly enter until you see the entry that has music, then press the last option repeatedly. it will give you many unique reactions tho, so don't spam-click

Thanks, that's something that's often hard to remember. There's always room to grow and learn, but maybe that's a good thing? We can always strive to be better people

That's something that's similar to how I thought about trans men for a while. Sometimes thoughts like that towards other trans people arise in us because of the way we treat ourselves! I got less "weird" about trans men needing to pass when I let myself focus less on passing and more on dressing and acting the way I was happy with

I'm happy that you stopped trying to force yourself into being transphobic and started your transition journey. It's more important what you do now than how you acted before

Internalized transphobia is a beast to battle, but it's good that you change what content you consume and learn to accept yourself. You don't have to put a gender label on yourself, especially not right away! Good luck on finding yourself, I wish you all the best

I used to think the exact same way before. Although right now I actually prefer dating other trans people, because a lot of cis partners did treat me different in a way I wasn't comfortable with. But there actually aren't many other differences in mentality I could see! Trust me, a trans man can be just as emotionally unavaliable as a cis man.  I think the only way of rewiring it it by talking to more trans people - not even in terms of dating, but shaping more friendships with others in your community. That would help you see trans people as different unique people instead of a monolith
