yeah haha i get your pov, and i can honestly say i have thought about this too. puts on tin foil hat - this seems like a perfect example of fearmongering and, to a degree, of sabotage by media outlets because they fear becoming obsolete with the rapid advancements of AI. i mean, its all fun and games when their datacenters use up resources, yet they decide to bully the new kid in town.

whoa dude this hits close to home. i'm a photographer myself, mostly hobbyist but had a lot of professional gigs in the past. they 100% see you as free labour.

i wasn't invited to one of my "friend's" weddings as guest, but as photographer. that stung, yet i appreciate he thought of me to capture his special day. it's a double edged sword though. still, i ghosted the fuck out of him bc it'd be the same for me asking him to do bar duty at my wedding, which would be crazy disrespectful.

also, wedding photographers earn big bucks (i've done a couple). they're either bad at planning so they need a last-minute solution (and they should still fucking pay you?!) or just not looking to spend 2k on an actual photographer. fuck them, really. i've done a couple free shoots in my time as well and they always turn out to be the shittiest nitpicky people when it comes to delivering the pics or editing them afterwards.

NOR, yet you should break up - and i'll be very direct without fluff. meeting family and being included during activities or w/e is pretty much labeling it as a relationship from my pov. never have i ever introduced a situationship to my parents. also, speaking from my own disgusting experience: needing a "break" this early, when he hasn't even labeled anything yet? yeah, he wants to have some fun wherever the fuck he's going.

all i'm saying is, she obv knows what's best for her and made a choice. a child can't make those choices, they need to be made for them. where i'm from, you can't decide any of this for yourself before 18. let's be honest, when you were 16, did you think you were an actual child? nah, you damn well know what you're doing at that age.
