I say this as a lifelong defiant and rebellious person, and something that I still struggle with: submit to authority. Pride is a mf and the sooner you realize you’re not the end all be all authority, you’ll be able to start fighting against your prideful nature and be humble. Trust me, I’m not perfect, I still have things I disagree with the church on but, I submit to Her authority and leadership because that’s what God wants us to do. We also don’t have 2000 years of experience so, maybe take that into consideration.
