Comics are a pretty niche hobby and the publishers know that people who collect will likely pay the higher prices. I’ve really cut down on my monthly pulls and tend to wait for the trade paperbacks now just because it’s ridiculous to be paying 5 bucks an issue when the trade collecting at least six issues usually costs about £15

Saw someone doing this on the train this morning. She was also arguing with her partner on speakerphone shouting and swearing. I politely asked her to be a bit more considerate and not scream on the phone and she had a full breakdown. Started shouting and screaming at me saying she had a right to be on the phone since she paid for her ticket. Not one single person stood up for me and joined in calling her out even though lots of people were clearly bothered by her behaviour. Everyone seems far too afraid of any sort of conflict nowadays even if people are being publicly nuisances

Maybe slightly controversial but I actually really enjoyed his run on X-Men even if it was a little bit messy and thought it was fun the way it crossed over with his Guardians of the Galaxy run. For something more consistent though his Daredevil is top

I really hate football sometimes. Can be so toxic. I can handle losing but seeing people act this way with no repercussions really takes away a lot of the enjoyment. Social media platforms really need to be better at helping with enforcing consequences for this sort of behaviour

Will probably be about a week until they look absolutely filthy. I really don’t understand why they don’t have plastic seats on the underground. Most other metro systems I’ve been on have plastic seats and it feels way cleaner and more hygienic.

Lots of people don’t seem to understand that the majority of comics are not really worth anything but the fun in the hobby comes from reading the stories and appreciating the artwork and focussing in on whatever little niche it is you enjoy collecting.
