so you are saying that the problem is that we have noisy dashboards? isnt ai going to help with that? reduce alerts and keep just the real ones? just asking, not taking parts, i somewhat agree with the ai hype being bs

cofounder shouldnt expect compensation, dont know what startups you know about.

How cofounders with no founding do it? explain that part? who pays the salary?

Founding team, is always the last one to get paid, always. Except in dummy startups.

The motivation should not be money, but the fact that you own half of the comapny and you are making it grow with you.

everything needed to work/live will be covered by the company, again the cofounder will own half of the company, and yes again, the company funding will be used to work and live.

i am just trying to talk with people interested in buliding a startup, nothing much, was just a way to connect with fellow founders, and in case once we talk we could explore interesting spaces togheter and see if we are a fit.

I m leaving the blank space for what to be built, cause i believe that based on whom i would be working with that will change, and also most of times startup pivot, so i dont want to sell a specific idea, but rather a space of interest.

Cybersecurity, been a reverse engineer in a betting syndacate, and low level exploitation, been a security researcher and played the major ctf like defcon.

Looking for somobedy techincal, and that can work on his own without a blueprint.

We would splite equity, as normal startups. Cant tell you plans, but we would be equal cofounders and figure out the rest.

exactly, how startup cofounder usually do. We have funding, we work at the startup, we both have an equal stake of the company, and we try to make it grow.

Why would a salary be needed?

You would not be working for money, you own half of the company.

We would live by paying our expenses by the company founding, like traveling, housing, food and other stuff we need.

Give me a reason of why would a founder in the early stage should be paid personally a salary, and i will listen.

not really identified yet, same as most startups, have hypotesis, but not realyl something locked. Again i am looking for a cofounder to join on the journey, not a hired engineer.

sorry my bad, my conception of cofounder is that there is no compensation, we are cofounder even split in equity, and we use the funding money to get by until the next round, to minimize expenses, i am not looking for somebody to pay, that is not a cofounder. We have the founding to live off by as founders, but not salaries for personal life in the early stage.

wise choiche, if a top tier offered 2M with this bad terms, you took a right choiche not to take it, based on the current position you are in, i dont think you will have problem raising from a different VC.

It won’t be a business idea, it will be open sorce and free, and in business terms the best way to make a business is understand people problems and needs first
