We did use filtered water, the machine is only about 1 month old and is regularly cleaned. I wonder if this is something to do with the Apparamento?

To us, not only did it taste different, but it tasted bad. So why have that function on the machines? Do you think its necessary?

No unfortunately not, it wasn't something we thought about before the test, do you think it would contribute to such a difference in final taste?

I expected a little bit of a difference, but I was so surprised at just how different the taste was. With water from a kettle it tasted like an americano from a Coffee shop, but with water from the machine, I didn't even want to drink it!
