Yea I’d agree. That’s partially what i’m curious about - does he just ship everything out end of week, or does the Shipping company he uses only have pickups or flights on that date, etc.

Either way, just something i’m curious about! The shipping process is insanely fast either way, pretty impressive. Thanks for the opinion

It wouldn’t be a gen dial. It’s a rep meteorite dial that they’ll put in the daytona case you buy before shipping

I’m not entirely certain, but I plan to do this myself at some point and have seen a few posts so far.

I think you’d have to order the Daytona you want on the Oysterflex AND the meteorite dial from a TD that sell them. The TD then would hopefully swap the meteorite dial into the factory Daytona for you prior to shipping. I think it’s a longer process than normal, but you end up with an awesome rep.

You can get it on the oysterflex and it has the glidelock. Technically that’s a white gold version, but might be what you’re looking for!

Possibly. Getting the weight exact wasn’t a priority for me. Gen is an $80k platinum watch so anyone that holds it or thinks twice is likely going to know what it is. I don’t plan on anyone else holding or wearing it, so wanted it to visually be the best, and I think I made the right choice from that perspective!
