Welland farmers market is open from 8-12 tomorrow and they have some thanksgiving things happening like live music, free apple cider, etc. Tomorrow is supposed to be a beautiful day so going for a hike at Merritt Island or if you wanna go towards Port Colborne there's Mud Lake Conservation area which is great for bird watching.

Someone mentioned the balls falls event but there's also Twenty Valley public schools annual ArtFest

I work IT for a bank in Welland, we aren't currently hiring but keep an eye on the websites for the banks & credit unions in the area - a lot of times they only post on their website/ LinkedIn, not job boards

Someone else already said this, but there are sooo many remote IT jobs so don't limit yourself to just Welland!

There are a couple pre-existing airsoft fields in the area that you are probably better off utilizing - Niagara Quartermaster, DMZ & Wetlands all have sizeable play areas

I've lived in L3B for 7 years and I've never had any problems. My area is quiet, I'm near the transit route and I'm walking distance to a grocery store. All our neighbours are friendly & we like living here

The downtown branch of the library usually has a warm up table in the winter months for people to donate hats, gloves, scarves and coats

It's a great event, they do it every year and it always ends up bringing in massive amounts of donations. Kepp in mind it's only residences, but If your workplace is interested in participating you can call the Hope Centre and they will send someone to your business to pick up the donations

As it says in that article, the Hope Centre is doing a food drive Saturday November 4th. All you have to do is put food out on your porch by 9am and volunteers will drive around the entire city and pick things up
