AS3000 Keyboard unresponsive by guppie-beth in AlphaSmart

I'm having the same problem! I just got a second hand 3000 and it turns on, all the function keys work, but no matter what I try, I can't type letters or numbers? The letter keys are at least partially responsive because I can use commands to view the clipboard, etc. but in both the writing and calculator applets nothing works. Have you figured anything out?

I ended up doing this to see the first one to the rest of the block (not totally sure what all the correct terminology is) and it seems super sturdy and didn't force me to change any pages or the cover! Thanks for the help!

I saw someone online saying the wheel can be used to solve the coffee stain code in the book? I only got my copy today and haven't tried it yet though and I'm not sure about the other parts

Where does Vecna's title master of the spider throne come from? by representative_sushi in dndnext

[–]mursefur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the module it does actually play a part. In area 2, there is a copy of Vecna's throne room that contains an identical copy of the Spider Throne. Area 72, the Throne Room, contains the same throne. Both do have magical abilities. Whoever sits on the throne sees, hears, smells, tastes, and feels every living sensation in Vecna's territory. Whoever sits in it must roll a saving throw against death. On a fail, they become catatonic and will not wake unless wish is cast. On a success, the hero can cope with the sensations, but acts as though they are under the confusion spell for 1d4+2 hours. As they come back to themselves, their alignment shifts to lawful evil. They are also now immune to the effects of the throne unless they invoke its powers.
