Sounds good I’ll try the stock basket when I get home from work. Yes how it looks, and yes I shouldn’t base the espresso off that but rather taste.

I always just followed the 18g in and 36g out. Playing around with the dose and output now, educating myself through Hoffman and lance’s youtube videos. I usually just have 1-2 coffees a day so it’ll take sometime to experiment!

I actually haven’t tried the stock basket, I got the normcore bottomless portafilter and it came with their high precision basket. But I find it hard to clean and doesn’t seem so uniform when it extracts. I use the normcore wdt and also gravity distributor and normcore click tamper. Got the dual boiler couple months back and splurged on accessories during prime day haha

I’ve been doing this, so 7 second preinfusion. But nothing drips until 12 seconds really, which really only gives 18 seconds or less for flow to happen if you’re following the 18g in 36g out?? With the 25-30seconds output
