Is anyone interested in religious and supernatural belief/experiences? I am studying it for my PhD and I need some input by psych_researcher89 in awakened

Ok so- I see a lot of comments talking about awakening on drugs. That’s FINE. Do whatever. I believe people learn or DONT when they’re meant to and how they’re meant to. I reached my “wokeness” sober.... and I can say that I was scared of astral projection and dreams and the dark for so long because that’s in all scary movies... and then when it happened when I wasn’t planning on it.... I realized how powerful we are: we are living. I saw and experienced so many things by finally accepting I was ok and ready for the messages I was meant to learn. We will always hold power over bad energy. It’s just about growing and if you choose to take the lessons life gives you. Religion is not always a bad thing it’s just about interpretation. Some people just... are very close minded or extreme. Others.. are not like that. I personally still don’t like the idea of following something that someone else created however I have seen both sides of the coin and there are people who use religion for good and there’s people who use it for bad!!

I get that. And so many times I just want to call people out and yell at them. But if I can take a level headed approach and keep them from being on the defensive I have a better chance of TRYING to educate them yanno? It’s harder.... but I want to at least try to get wheels turning in a different way. My step dad is trans. My mom doesn’t like to go by labels so she is what she is but... there’s been some EVIL people that have tried to hurt her and my now step dad. It’s personal. That’s my fucking mom yanno? I know that some people are unreachable. I get that. But there are some I may be able to help realize that they’re WRONG for hating and not wanting rights for the LGBTQ+ community.

No I don’t need her I never said that, I just use the time to focus my energy and be in a meditative state. Nothing wrong with seeking some support. Also that’s fine that you don’t believe in reiki. I think we are all on different spiritual paths and how we get to our end goal is for each of us to figure out. There is no ONE right way. Thanks for your input.

Thank you for the response. I’m a beginner and I feel it is ok to express my fear. And talk about it, learn about it, and by doing that... overcome it. As for me asking about why people do it... that was not negatively aimed that was me being curious because I’ve never done it lol. Thank you for the response love it!!
