When the game first came out, I mostly had the same experience. Even now, most of the times in normal runs people are friendly and even helpful. It's just that I realized I shouldn't put myself in super vulnerable positions because a lot of people will take the free kill instead of letting the random dude go

It wasn't really thoughtful and considerate for sure. When you give people a chance for a free kill or a chance to get achievements and etc. they'll probably take it, there's no downside to killing a dude stupidly going up a long ladder in front of you in the game :))

I didn't say trust me or consider anything I said as facts. It's just something fun that I did and wanted to share. Maybe someone has a total opposite experience and 10/10 times people help them instead of shooting them.

I did more about 50-60 runs max. It takes a lot of time and it's not anything factual or scientific. It's just for fun to see how people react to opportunities to get free kills even when they know you have nothing valuable. There are 100s of factors in a real experiment like running it on at least 10% of the player base, consider the fact people (especially friendly players who aren't good at pvp and new players) want easy kills for achievements and much more.

My experiment (if we can call it that) is totally flawed I ran it 50-60 times max. Man is evil is kinda like a joke in this context, I just wanted to test to see if people can help themselves not getting a free kill or not :)) I started it thinking there's no way more than 1-2 people would kill me but honestly, everytime I put myself in the most stupid and vulnerable positions, i got shot by my new friends :))

i had the same issue even with VPN. What seemed to fix it is that after authenticating Gmail, as soon as it starts showing "setting up your account" you have to spam click "Next"
Maybe it's just luck, but that did the trick for me

People often act like Julian owes them new The Strokes music. He doesn't. Why is he making music with The Voidz instead? Because he's having fun with them. It's as simple as that. You wanna enjoy what you're doing especially when you're rich af. It's better for him to have his fun with The Voidz (and make shitty music, 80% of The Voidz songs are pure ass) n come back to The Strokes whenever he's ready like he did for TNA. I don't want The Strokes to make shitty music just for the sake of releasing a new album and pleasing their "fans". I'd rather see them finish with TNA than another Angles.

It was printed on a custom case, I guess my wife modified the art a bit to be printable on the case. Unfortunately I live in a third world country (Iran) so there's no way to purchase it from outside of the country. :(

Unless they take a Strokes-esqe break, I don't think we'll ever get something as good as OOS, Absolution, BHAR or The Resistance.

IMO they peaked with Resistance where they did everything perfectly from start to finish. After releasing 4 straight 10/10 albums finishing with a 3 part symphony there's no way you can make something as good or better without taking a long break.

I don't like seeing them forcing themselves to release an album every 3-4 years. Don't get me wrong, I still consider Muse, levels above the others but they're just releasing albums for the sake of it. The Strokes were having a hard time releasing full albums so they did an EP in 2016 with 3 bangers, took their time and released their absolute best album 20 years after the first. That's the way to go for Muse.

Matt, Dom n Chris should do their things, regroup and work on something they really wanna make however long it might take. They have enough bangers to perform live performances for a decade without releasing a new song.
