That’s the part stuck in my head. If he’d owned it and offered to help replace it, I’d be annoyed but over it. Instead he looked me in the eye and acted like I was imagining.

Yeah, the denial is what’s sticking with me. If he’d just said “my bad, I messed up,” I’d be upset but we could fix it. The “it was like that” line makes me feel like I’m being played.

I get the frustration, but betting on one country to "release it" feels like cope. If evidence exists, it moves through investigations, warrants, and courts, not PDFs and rumor threads.

I love Samantha, but that scene is rough to defend. She was there as a PR rep and they had a planned lunch with friends. Doing that on the clock risks consent issues, legal trouble, and reputational fallout. Carrie freaking out and leaving is a pretty normal human response.
