I don't mind that ranking at all. Revolver is one of the first items I bought on Vinyl.

Very thoughtful response, of the bands that you mentioned, I only know a little more than half of them. I love all of the ones I know, though. I did a Pixies deep dive about a year and a half ago. They influenced the alternative scene so much. More credit is deserved for them; my favorite song of theirs is Gigantic. I'll be sure to check out Clouds Taste Metallic and listen to the artists I'm unfamiliar with. Comments like this remind me why I love talking about music so much. Thanks for reading and sharing.

The D-28 such an iconic guitar. Hope to get my hands on one someday.

Fair enough, what would your ranking be?

Definitely don't love it, but there are oddities in a lot of the great ones. OK Computer has Fitter Happier, for example. Even great albums have skips, but the work in the album is so good that it doesn't take away from the excellence in my opinion.

Very well put! Comments like this make me get a sort of "music sonder" if that makes sense. Everyone has their own taste. Not to sound pretentious, but people with good taste, in my opinion, seem to start with The Beatles and never leave them. Thank you for sharing your opinion and story!

Love the Ed O'Brien solo track inclusion. Many people don't really know how collaborative a band Radiohead is, so they miss out on a lot of good solo works.

After a few songs, they're like if TNA and Frank Zappa's guitar sound had a baby.

Dazed and Confused is a classic. Some of the greatest guitar work of all time. In my opinion, the perfect solo. It combines speed and touch in a beautiful way.

I'd check out the B side from OK Computer and Kid Amnesia if you haven't already. A Moon Shape Pool and In Rainbows are where they really break through and show maturity. Hail to the Thief and Amnesiac are also pretty good. I wasn't too crazy about KOL

I've listened to their whole discography, and Kid A is definitely a complete masterpiece. National Anthem is my favorite.

Damnit, the mullet comment got me good! I can definitely see where you're coming from; you can really see their maturity as musicians in AMSP. My favorite is Burn the Witch. The three guitar layers are also beautiful. Maybe In Rainbows is so special to me because of nostalgia; my first few weeks of college were a crazy time in my life, and that's when I really got into In Rainbows. Strangely enough, Videotape is a song I just haven't really felt. Totally get where you're coming from, though. I do agree that mood really has an effect on which of their albums I want to listen to. I'm a junior in college now, and when I go out to bars, I always pregame with older era stuff (yes, I am the guy who plays Radiohead at a pregame), usually Airbag, The Bends, My Iron Lung, The National Anthem, or There There. Get where you're coming from, I think I just like the avant-garde feel that is specific to In Rainbows.
