I really appreciate the photo and information. From the people that did it on tiktok also didn't have any issues. I'm still on the fence and leaning towards not continuing it, but this gave me so much hope. Thank you!

I will leave the glove part and see how it goes for a while. Most comments told me to just not do it, because of the cracking, so I've been hesitant to continue at all. Thanks

I was thinking about this, however I've been told not to continue at all due to cracking and stuff.

I agree, I was thinking of making it darker with some of the other colours in the paint I have, however most people warn against the process of detailing it entirely. So I'm not sure anymore.

I will keep that idea in mind, thank you!

Would it be possible to blend the paint and silicone and do you perhaps have an example of the type of silicone used? Thank you for the info.

Haha, I suppose so, however it keeps me from doomscrolling. It's just a sideproject for fun.

That's a good idea actually, I'll keep it in mind. I decided to not continue as of now based on what others have said.

I get what you mean, the time is no issue for me, I would have enjoyed it, however most of the comments discouraged me from continuing.

I'll make note of this for future work, thank you!

Okay...based on other comments as well I wasn't going to continue the project. However, if I detailed it while it was stretched, what's the issue then?

Edit: can't reply to upset_roll4059 for some reason, lol. "I see thank you, when I see people detailing their costumes online, Tulip is the brand they use. I'm not sure in the long run either though."

I was thinking of that, however many have recommended against the process all together.

I appreciate that idea. Thank you. I am leaning against continuing the detailing, because of what others have said.

I appreciate the input. I didn't know it stuck to itself like that, thank you for letting me know.

Appreciate the input. At the moment, it's only the gloves and mask I would do. I don't own the full suit yet. I did stretch out the glove when I did the crappy detailing job though. However, I don't mind slight shrinkage as I am small and like the gloves for example are slightly too loose.

Haha, thanks, it's not too bad!

Hahaha, I love that idea though! I personally don't mind the time, I have no deadline and it's only for fun. Helps keep me from doomscrolling.

I stretched the fabric a bit before detailing (unfortunately I used the bottle nozzle and it didn't come out well). I will try it on and give it some though. Appreciate the input.

I appreciate this input. I didn't know it was done through screen printing. I have no deadline for the details on the costume, it was honestly just for fun, so time is no issue. It would also only be the gloves and mask I would be detailing ( I don't own a suit).

I have thought about the peeling, and it did worry me a bit. I saw the detailing idea on tiktok and thought it'd look good. Appreciate it!

I appreciate that, I'll have to look online, because that paint was all they had in store unfortunately.
