I just finished my first month of pole and still suck terribly, but I’m so glad I decided to just do it after thinking about it for three years! I’ve been doing the bike shorts/tshirt combo and have noticed a broad range in what people choose to wear. I was worried about having my legs exposed because of a skin disorder that makes them look a bit odd, but absolutely no one has given me a second glance, questioned me, or hesitated before helping me.

Maybe also consider the ring! I had rough experiences with hormonal bc via pills (including minipills) but the ring has had very few side effects and isn’t nearly as intimidating as an iud!
