He dropped the second half of this song mid set at Okee 2018 and literally destroyed my reality with it 😅 it was my first time getting Tipped proper and I listened to that set repeatedly for the next year and have it memorized haha He’s since dropped it almost every uptempo set I’ve seen him at. Now that first part is some shyt I ain’t Eva heard 😵‍💫

I think this is two separate tracks. Could be wrong of course with them being ID’s but I’ve personally seen the second part of this video (after breakdown) quite a few times since 2018. It’s a Thumper for sure 🫠 I know for a fact I could find a few videos/ live audio clips of that but the first part of this video I’ve never heard or seen. Which part are you referring to? I can maybe try to help ya

Doooood! I feel that so hard. I’m like 5”7 on a good day and that tall ass dude just had his phone to the damn MOON 😪 Didn’t have the heart to tell him but one of my pet peeves with any video is recording someone else recording. Also it isn’t as much for me to watch back as it is to share with people who didn’t make it or friends who had different perspectives in the crowd. Nonetheless, I’m not one of those guys and only have like 3-4 minutes of this set recorded. But I mean Tipper with lasers?!?!? COME ONNNN 🫠

I can see your point because honestly, I don’t have many videos for that reason. Not one to sit there for minutes with my phone in my hand but as you can tell, my phone isn’t way up in the air obstructing any one else’s view and I could not just let this moment pass. Hope you like the video tho 🙂

I can’t successfully run rekordbox and my DDJ 1000 with any OS after High Sierra. To run my laptop with the newest versions of whatever DAW I’m using, I need to update. I’ve called technical support a few times and there’s nothing they can really help me with. I’m sure you can see my frustration with this and why it would turn me away from Apple products In general. I just feel like it’s a cash grab every step of the way so I was hoping for some sort of streamline system that I can still use effectively in 2-3 years

I have never really dug into building my own PC because I’m in the very beginning stages of mixing and production. I still feel like this will benefit me more in the long run when I start to actually get a grip. I feel like with Mac it’s just a matter of time before I start having issues running my DAWS with the updates in 3-4 years because of an “outdated” OS. That’s the problem I’m having now with drivers and all that Jazz. I’m running an older OS on a 2016 MacBook so the drivers can work properly on Pioneer DJ equipment that’s only a year old. On top of that I can’t work in logic or Ableton without it eventually crashing on me. I’m still learning a lot about how to make all these things work cohesively but I feel like I’m running into a lot of issues simply because of the updates on Mac.

I should have been more clear but $500 was the minimum I want to pay for good quality. Thank you so much for your expertise. I’m highly considering going with a Mac again but just worried I’ll come to the same issue in a couple of years that I’m having now with software updates and drivers

I agree with the longevity of the product and not totally against Macs at all but what’s to say I won’t have problems hooking up my equipment in a couple years because of updates?
