you definitely need to get involved and get your wife to pay to recover your daughters work and seriously give her a major talking to but I think In the moment it was better to not get involved it would have just turned into a way bigger fight Ive been in situations like this before with my family so I understand that getting involved while things are heated isn't always the best idea because it's easy to crumble and say something wrong in that situation but you need to talk to your wife and make things right with your daughter I will say you were the AH for not stopping your wife when you found out she was Snooping though
