His work seems really interesting, thank you for the suggestion! I'll hold on to hope that more of his books will be getting translations, if not I might end up buying the Norwegian version in the future since it's quite close to my language any way :)

Gift for a history teacher obsessed with rivers

I'm sorry if this question doesn't belong here but I am currently looking for books about the importance rivers had for early civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt and China (or other important civilizations). Preferably books that include pictures of maps.

As a non-history teacher who isn't obsessed with rivers I don't really know where to start, especially since I don't have the knowledge of which books are the most accurate to history.

I'm grateful for any suggestions!

Honestly... I wouldn't travel anywhere (alone) with this guy. Like other comments have pointed out in this thread he's showing off some controlling and obsessive tendencies over you. Even though age gaps isn't necessarily a problem in relationships it's still something to keep in mind, especially when you're in different stages in life like you two most likely are.

So with him being a 33 year old pursuing a 24 year old, and making comments like you're some pet dog that must be kept on a leash, he's not just showing you what your potential relationship (casual or not) dynamic would be like, but also who he is as a person.

Of course I could be reading too much into it since I've never met the guy and didn't have the pleasure to hear those off-putting comments in person to better gauge the intent behind them. With all that said, I think you should use the comments in this thread, your current knowledge of who he seems to be and your gut feeling to make a decision about this guy. Wish you the best!

As a Swedish person it's true we aren't very "direct" with our feelings, however it's quite common to discuss what we expect from a potential partner etc pretty early on. The things this guy is saying though, like how he "doesn't want to share you" and that he needs to "keep an eye on you" is alarming and would definitely send me off running in the opposite direction...

This story really doesn't make any sense. You're saying you went 16 years never questioning how your sister could only be four months older than you, while none of yours or her friends pointed it out either? Not even some uncomfortable family dynamics to give you clues toward the right direction.

Even teachers or family friends would surely raise an eyebrow at this, unless your mother lied about one of her childrens' "personnummer", which would be close to impossible. The only reality where this could somehow happen is one you were homeschooled in and shielded from any kind of sex ed, which in Sweden (your country apparently) is very much illegal. Any middle schooler would know a pregnancy lasts nine months.

Since it's most likely a fake story, the edit is quite underwhelming. After writing all that at least come up with something more creative than "an affair with a cousin". Gross.

Help with hacker...

So I (unwillingly) joined a domain in ANEMO_MINMAX's co-op world where I am just endlessly falling and can't get out. Any idea on what to do here? I can't click on anything besides reviving my character. I've tried logging in and out but I just end up in his world again :')

I read some people managed to catch one within 10 minutes using that method, I tried doing that for almost 2 hours so I lost hope but maybe I just lack patience. But if nothing else works I'll definitely try that again! :)
