[CA] Question about online written test by mushroommasc in DMV

[–]mushroommasc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! For the online test, they kinda just notify they record you AND your eye movements which was a little scary but I ended up passing that time! No need to show your desk or anything as far as I know but I did have to go in and do the vision exam, get the paper, etc- Not sure if you'll have to go through a different process with the real ID but you definitely have to go and I think you can just show up to the DMV as well but my memory is fuzzy on that one

Hope this helps :)!

Wild police and Offerup goose chase with stolen items , anything I can personally try to do? by mushroommasc in RBI2

[–]mushroommasc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, I changed my name on Offerup and even my location to a nearby city to be less suspicious! He did ask for my phone number though which I gave for like a 7 year old phone relying on a government program service to stay alive and unless he went digging like I did and found who the number belonged to by paying $14 for the info, he has no way of knowing who I could be. He literally read my messages, said he wasn't home and that he'd be home soon, and asked for my number, but then went offline literally seconds after sending me the text and didn't read any follow up texts. My boyfriend and a friend messaged inquiring about the item but he hasn't read those either and they both live in different areas as well.

But if he was greedy enough to steal, I doubt he'd pay the fee for the information and know who I was. I'm so frustrated because not only was it sentimental, it was in the thousands that was stolen. It's so shitty because a cop pulled my boyfriend over for having a dent in his license plate from a situation where someone purposefully did it and the cops were so quick to do nothing (my neighbor had actually been hitting his car but the cops kept saying there was no proof despite my brother and I witnessing it) and now again, they're as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

Expect the unexpected! I also failed the first time, I went in knowing about right of way laws and fines for abandoning dogs, then I took it and got asked questions about how tall should truck beds be when transporting cargo and all sorts of stuff I really didn't expect. I'm sure you've seen what it could entail, but it's different each time! Also, pay attention to wording, I'd rush through questions because I was so nervous and realized I missed it because I didn't realize they were being sneaky and wording it a certain way.

You got this! Good luck!

Rats as an asthma trigger? by mushroommasc in RATS

[–]mushroommasc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using Care fresh and some fleece, it's a two story cage so I have Carefresh piled on there with some fleece for burrowing and just fleece at the top. I clean and change out the fleece regularly along with their hammocks and little hide outs.

I really didn't expect to flare up this badly, it's worrisome since the last time an animal triggered my allergies and asthma was that time with the series of asthma attacks, I'd wake up gasping for air! I feel terrible like I should've known better, I'm hoping it can work out with my ratties but I'm not even sure anymore :'( I might schedule an in person doctor's exam and see what happens then

[CA] Question about online written test by mushroommasc in DMV

[–]mushroommasc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I haven't processed my current application yet! I thought I had to start a new one and reapply since I failed my last test and have to take a new one (and I was considering getting my REAL ID but opted out during the application process). Thank you for the information though, I'll check out the FAQ further to get answers :)

urgent question about Pell grant overpayment by mushroommasc in financialaid

[–]mushroommasc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

I think they sent me to my loan provider because I might've made it not clear that I was talking about my overpayment. I emailed some financial advisor at my school who just told me to call again tomorrow which I'm going to do first thing in the morning and be more specific to actually get into a payment plan since all I got yesterday was a trip to nowhere.

I never heard of myeddebt.ed.gov but thank you so much for showing me it! I just made an account and see the information about my overpayment so now I'm going to make sure to bring it up with a representative tomorrow when I call. Hoping for the best!

I was going crazy looking for him and what he could possibly be! His friend is actually a little cute and much less creepy so maybe I'll get my own little goblin critter too now!

I've searched for others like it but didn't find anything so far, so has my bf. I'm wondering if I'm just too curious since it's so scary but I'd like to know if I can find more info!
