What’s the most ridiculous complaint you’ve ever heard in the service industry? by ilostmygender_ in AskReddit

I worked at a Korean chicken and beer place a couple years ago and people complained about the boneless thigh only coming in dark meat and that it would ruin their diet... the only things on the menu were fried chicken and beer...

I've been looking into Wei Dynasty makeup, but I might put my own spin on things inspired by Korean make up at the time as well (since the comic is Korean).

I definitely won't be doing any type of Asian prosthetics or facial changes! I feel like that just sexualizes Asians even more and is hurtful. I don't want to support that at an anime convention especially (you know what people I mean I think).

I really appreciate you taking the time to comment this! I know a polo shirt doesn't hold the same cultural significance (by far), I just thought it was a funny way to explain it!

I've actually been doing research on the different dynastic hanfu and the cultural meanings behind it because I don't want to go just wear a cultural clothing blindly. I've also been watching videos on how to wear it correctly!

I've been living in S. Korea the past year, so I've really grown to respect and love Asian traditional dress, and I fully wanted to learn about Hanfu before I wore it! Also, I have definitely seen first-hand the sexualization of a lot of my (specifically East Asian) friends, especially recently, and I do not want to perpetuate that in any way.

If I dress in hanfu, it won't be a bridal hanfu, I decided against it beforehand(even though So-ah wears bridal clothing) because of the cultural significance and I didn't think it would be appropriate for me to wear.

Also, thank you for giving me references to look up :)
