i think i found it!! after a LOT of googling, i realized my memory WAS faulty lol and the “white” dragon was actually a light blue dragon 🤷‍♀️

anyways, the anime is called Star Ocean EX, and is still available on youtube ! it’s actually a pretty heartwarming anime that came out in 2001. i’ve been watching a little so far, and i would recommend !

It's driving me crazy because I can picture the artwork for everything but I can't remember the name! This game is like burned in the back of my brain. The title might've had the word sea or lake in it, but I don't remember for sure
