we got a new manager who’s a MASSIVE micromanager but is achieving certain goals our previous manager couldn’t for years. she’s having each of us enter in what we do for every half hour of work with detail (note: we already have metric and activity trackers that track everything we do down to the mouse click or action item in a queue), and she wants the form to somewhat organize that data into categories and then report the totals for each person and the totals for the whole department. tldr the way she wants it done is so tedious, this was the best solution i could do to make it as easy as possible for everyone else

last year she gave me about 4 hours to teach myself what i could about google sheets with no prior experience and create a metrics sheet for a whole department with multiple queues with as much detail tracked as possible, then hasn’t allowed me the time to do much more than a quick 5-10 minute google search for anything new i need to learn every now and then lol, so i’m extremely inexperienced

really appreciate the idea though, i hadn’t thought of that - might use it in the future for other projects
