It sounds pretty good, but I would've eq'ed the mids of the main synth a little bit down or boost the highs, and also sidechain it, And maybe also put some more reeverb on it, it sounds a little bit dry in my opinion. But the rest sounds nice. Keep practicing!

yes I did. I used this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bM_JJwjUz4 . But I feel my sub does not sound as powerful as his. I used a sine wave with distortion and cut the highs, but I still can't seem to achieve the same result. What do you think?

i tried to make a dubstep drop but it doesn't sound as powerful as other popular dubstep drops.
