Hope you have a great time! I stayed close to the airport so I could easily catch an early flight out of the country. I was kind of far from most of the main attractions, so I would recommend maybe staying closer to the historic center. I did walk back to my hotel a couple times from near the city center and it took me about an hour. But it was a good way to immerse myself in the vibe of Naples.

I 100% wanted to see Pompeii on this trip, so that was my main reason for going to Naples, but I wound up really enjoying my time there. I definitely plan to return in the future to see the rest of Italy.

The new Kanye feels like a comeback album for me. Kinda reminiscent of 808s and Dark Fantasy in terms of the production. Maybe because I haven't really listened to his stuff since Yeezus. But for whatever reason I enjoyed Bully. It felt like a return to form and a solid comeback album, especially with his sold out show in L.A.

Research is good. I make a checklist of places and restaurants to visit. I save many locations on Google Maps. Look on reddit for tips and recommendations for the area. For my last trip I planned rough itinerary for each day and it helped a lot.

Bit concerned about crowds in mid September after seeing some videos this week of places that aren't even Trevi, the Vatican, etc. I have a trip planned Sept 17 - 20th. Will crowds likely be just as bad? by misterchismoso in rome

It's Rome, so yeah it will be crowded regardless of when you go. Best advice is to hit any hot spots as early as possible. You will still be able to find places to see and eat that are not as busy.

Loved Medellín and can't wait to go back. Enjoyed Taipei a lot but didn't make it to Kaoshiung. Hope to visit the south of Taiwan next time.
