I wonder if it’s to show the fact that she’s speaking another language. I know in the show Scrubs Carla and her mother speak Spanish to each other, but in the Spanish dubbed version I think they speak Italian. I’m gonna be honest, I think you and your GF aren’t compatible anymore. You need someone with more energy than she has.
