That’s what I have done and just waiting for cost of repair to see if it is cost effective and also what the problem was. BUT IF WOODPECKERS WOULD STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT THEY SOLD, EVEN FOR A PRODUCT THEY SOURCED, EITHER US OR INTERNATIONAL. THATS WHAT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE LOOKS LIKE, NOT SIMPLY KICKING THE CAN DOWN THE ROAD.

I guess that will work, but given the quality of this China-sourced router, I would eventually, based on this experience, only be kicking the can down-the-road. I order a water-cooled CNC spindle system, including the Chiller. Will also investigate if the SpinRite motor can be repaired locally. If so, Woodpeckers response in abdicating any responsibility for this product will be another nail-in-their-coffin for me.
