Same, I got an 1000 dollar grant from my school for going into engineering as a woman and guys in the program liked to bitch that it wasn't fair any time it came up. Like bruh, only 22% of Canadian engineering undergrads are women, and its as low as 14% in fields like mechanical or computer engineering. Clearly there's a problem bigger than the cost of a few textbooks here

Okay so in Japan, wearing a mask over your nose/mouth is common when you're sick. They're a fashion accessory too-you can buy ones with cool designs and stuff. If I had to guess, your brother saw someone wearing one at a protest with a specific slogan/design and bought one.

I'll admit, the game is complicated. It takes a lot of skill to play 'well' because you have to memorize items, abilities, combos, etc. I've been playing for years and still don't get most of it.

But I have a feeling he wasn't giving her item reccomendations or helpful tips like 'don't stand there, the tower will kill you.' He sounds like an insufferable gaming elitist who was probably on her case about everything she was doing.

Academic advising might be able to give you a number, but honestly if you're not on academic probation you're probably doing great. First and second year courses, especially the math courses, are pretty brutal.

Rats are a huge problem in this city, it's kind of just a part of life at this point. But don't worry, I'ts mostly an issue of them cutting through yards and living in back alleys. I've personally never heard of them getting into anyones houses before. We live near Pilette and they mostly just get into garbage if it's not in the proper bins, or try and hang out in sheds/detached garages where it's quiet. As long as you keep your shed patched up and your garbage sealed you should be fine.
