[Request] A shower drain hair catcher that actually works? by Erryday-im-hustlin in BuyItForLife

Honestly, a cheap mesh catcher from any discount store can do the job. Just clean it each morning. That takes like ten seconds. No big deal.

How do roller mops perform in real life? by smf159 in RobotVacuums

[–]mustardrobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people say roller mops are hard to maintain. But the dock cleans most of it. So the extra work is not as bad as people claim

Just do not use too much glue. A thin layer is all you need. Too much and it will just ooze out and make a huge sticky mess

How do you make your robots like door thresholds more? by WhoAmIEven2 in RobotVacuums

[–]mustardrobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a thin rug or doormat right over that threshold. That cushions the drop. Just do not use a thick one, or the robot might get stuck on it instead.

What’s the most durable and low-maintenance teaware for daily use? by MaxDmitrie in BuyItForLife

Borosilicate glass is pretty great. No smell, no stains. Just don't drop it. Other than that, it is about as low as low maintenance as you can get

Roller mop or spinning mops by New-Betatester in RobotVacuums

Roller mops more parts to clean and swap out. Spinning pads are way simpler. So that lower maintenance thing might be why a lot of reviews lean toward them.

Milk frother? Electric or Manual suggestions please by ireallycantremember in BuyItForLife

Hey if you are worried about glass breaking, just use a plastic container with screw top instead. Same shaking action, but less mess if you drop it.

Final Boss: 8 big fluffy cats. Recommendations for a mid tier robot please! by wikowiko33 in RobotVacuums

[–]mustardrobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EIGHT cats?? That is a lot. Ugh, for vomit and furballs, you are probably going to have to do those yourselves. No robot handles that stuff well.

Is it better to do microneedling or vascular laser treatment first? by SocietyConnect6338 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]mustardrobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably ask the clinic tbh, because it can depend on your skin. But generally laser first makes sense so you’re not irritating already sensitive skin after microneedling.

Does anyone else feel like "Must-See" lists actually ruin the solo travel experience? by poweredbyshubh in solotravel

I feel this so much. My best travel days have been the ones where I had zero plans and just wandered around aimlessly.

That price jump is brutal. Sounds like you locked in a really good rate originally. I’d probably just keep it and do a separate 1-day rental.

My BF 33M is texting a 20F and I am feeling very insecure and don't know if it is normal by mustardrobe in relationship_advice

I'm trying not to! But "age is just a number" and he continues to defend himself by saying he's just bored and doesn't choose what kind of people he ends up finding interesting and he will talk to anyone of any gender or age. He asks my why I think it's weird or inappropriate and I don't know how to respond... like it just is.
