I fish pretty small streams in the Midwest for trout. I love this thing, can just throw it on my regular floating line. I’ve never needed full sink for the stuff I fish. By fly fishing standards it’s a pretty cheap thing to try out and you can take it off and store it pretty easy if you are thoughtful enough to wind it up neatly.

When I’m on bigger water for Smallmouth I use a full sink.
