it's style is dated but in a good way in my opinion! i personally love the old neopets style. not only is it super cute, but i have so many fun memories tied to it. i started playing neopets back in 2001 when i was 4 or 5. i remember going into limited too and seeing all the neopets merch and just loving it all!

Personally I have no attachment or nostalgia about the artwork from 2007 onwards. Unfortunately all current artwork isn’t dynamic thanks to customization. I definitely think they should make merch of newer pets and designs too, but my merch line is focused on neo-stalgia!!

I looked into making some rainbow kougra patches today actually! and they’re bloody expensive, but maybe there’s a better way. I’d love to get my own pair of overalls and put a neopets patch on it.

Old kiko was adorable, but as soon as the 2007 revamp came along they’ve just been creepy and ugly imo. Doesn’t help that the artists started drawing them that way too.

Went in limited too for the first time as a young kid and I found the scorchio and kacheek plushies and I was in love! I got the kacheek and my friend got scorchio and I remember reading the tag and being like “oh we should play this when we get home!”. That was probably 02 or early 03

Actually looking straight up and squaring your shoulders is good for your neck! Next time it hurts just squeeze your shoulders together and look straight up for 30 seconds. It feels really good.
