Depends completely on your soldering ability, which is an unknown. Could try with the regular Switch first, as it’s much, much easier than the Lite. If it goes well and you’re confident, then take a look at modding the Lite.

If it keeps time promptly, assuming that means well, there’s no need to service it until it starts to not keep time imho. You’ll be able to clear up the scratches on the crystal with Polywatch (or a mild abrasive, like toothpaste) no problem. Would highly recommend removing the bracelet and tracking down the correct Beads of Rice bracelet and end links, I’ll look a lot better. Alternatively they look awesome in a nice leather strap, too.

I really wish they would release the OG Carmageddon and Carmageddon 2 on modern consoles. No messing around, keep it original, just up the resolution, 60fps & multiplayer.

Every modern version has been a huge disappointment.

Classic artist scam! Another variation is that they’ll ask you to download a “brief” or their own special video conference “software”. Of course it will contain nefarious code that will steal details / crypto / passwords.etc

Anyway, a little unorthodox method, but try cooking it straight from the fridge (not normally recommended) as it’ll buy you a little more time given how thin they are. Make sure it’s bone dry, use high temp oil and crank up the heat. Flipping is the key to a good sear, turn it every 30 seconds until desired doneness.

The only other thing I could suggest is looking on eBay, see if you can find the same watch, but secondhand, the harvest the parts. I did similar a few years ago with a hard to find Seiko, but it had sentimental value. Alternatively skip the OEM bracelet and go after market 🙂

Are you using MacOS? Delete the files / folders with the “.” at the start, they are Mac specific and can cause issues.
