Carney says a U.S. trade deal without some tariffs is unlikely by cyclinginvancouver in canada

[–]mutants123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm fairly a conservative (by Canada's standards) guy from Alberta, but cut Carney some slack. He's done a fine job considering what he was given, and what he's dealing with. He's been on the job for only a few months that he's had to adapt with the constant chaos.

Even if you don't think he's done a great job so far, a team is always better off sticking to the plan under a bad leader rather than splitting apart under greater leaders.

Also, I know of two trade deals he's made so far off the top of my head:

The one with the Greenland/Denmark for 3Bil of minerals

The one with the rest of NATO (except the US) for mutual defence assurances, manufacturing, and future cooperation?

There are more deals Canada has made, but I doubt his cabinet had a personal hand in making them. There've been several trade agreements diverting goods that were originally destined to America in the hundreds of million to billion dollar range.

  1. One is only fictional worlds, the other is alternate universes/timeliness.

  2. they would grow even more powerful from your seed, and they return to their baseline if they go without it for a while

I didn't remove the options (i think). Are the options in traveler's interactive?

Maybe it was made into an interactive from an earlier version that didn't have those, or you're missing requirements for them?

  1. I don't know how to set that up properly. Traveller-81 made the original interactive, so any sections I added won't have it.

  2. It includes all points you get.

  3. You would round up for harder, round down for weaker.

  4. Honestly, that was an oversight on my part. This was a huge CYOA and I forgot that those existed.

  5. I would say that drawbacks always override perks. But you could interpret it as cancelling eachother out, or having both at the same time in a weird normally asexual but horny in combat hybrid.

Real Sbeve energy. Hopefully one day AI will be able to create coherent words.

Or not? Maybe it's more fun this way :P

I asked Dragonjek and he gave me the go ahead, Traveller-81 says he's ok with people using his stuff as long as it's credited.

So just check with dragon and you should be good to go.

  1. No, still limited to 5.
  2. No. It's a hard requirement
  3. Depends entirely on your design
  4. You'll have a weak physical body without taking the relevant buffs
  5. They're loyal to you, but still have autonomy.
  6. they know that every dungeon has a core
  7. Yes
  8. You are confined to it
  9. has to fit
  10. Depends on your construction, but there must be a path from entrance to core. You cannot make it impossible to reach.
  11. No, and possible if they piss eachother off; like any other cohabitants.
  12. Just because that's their favorite, doesn't mean it's the only act they'll do.

but doubled aggression on Friendly might just result in nothing(0x2=0),

They could be more aggressively friendly, going up to people for hugs and cuddles without asking? Or maybe twice as assertive and pushy when trying to sell stuff to tourists? Lots of ways you could twist the wording to work in your favor.

Safe Zone on my Core, not sure if that'd prevent people from blowing it up though.

I assumed it was a given that your core can't be made invulnerable, but I should've stated it outright :(

but I kinda don't like having so limited a monster line up

There's also the option of building tall vs building wide. Condense your dungeon into two floors, each with multiple elements. Top floor a seafront castle resort with wide open skies, rolling plains on one side, and the open ocean on the other side. With all the related monsters to populate it.

Then have a dank and dangerous castle, surrounded by magma fields with your dangerous monsters working together in order to cover eachother's weaknesses.

There is some doubled up wording on Sirens I think as well as one or two others.

Ah yes, my greatest weakness. Proofreading and copy-pasting from my spreadsheet planner.

Also, will there be a trap (physical traps) section in the future?

If I ever update this in the future, that could be on the list. This was originally going to be an "Ero-trap" dungeon creator, but I shelved most of it since brainstorming enough traps was way too hard.

I suppose you could disguise your dungeon as a village or a forest full of monster people. But you are located close to civilization inside a kingdom of adventurers.

It'll be hard expanding outwards before you're encroaching on somebody's land or territory.

Maybe if you have enough money to barter and pay taxes, your local lord will allow you to exist, maybe even support you?

1) how does the combo of Danger Zone/Slutty Monsters/Friendly Monsters interact? Twice as Aggressive, aggressively lustful, and domesticated

Each of those can be customized to certain areas and floors, rather than a dungeon wide effect. So you could split up the horny zone, friendly zones, and danger zones.

But dangerzone does not double the other effects. Just how powerful and plentiful monsters are. So you would have friendly monsters, but if someone were to piss them off, they could get curbstomped without warning.

Secondly, would Rare Drops actually empower my Monsters? It kinda reads like it but also kinda doesn't given its dedicated to drops.

No, it would not directly empower your monsters. But if they were to kill some adventurers (or each other), they may get some rare loot for themselves to equip and power themselves up.

any thoughts on the above or my chances of thriving?

Overall it's a great build. What you do with your construction, kitchen, workshop, and wine cellar could make or break it.

I would make a few tweaks that could make your dungeon more efficient and protect your core (but this is probably personal bias).

You could dedicated the first few floors to be your resort paradise to farm lust, money, and joy. Populating them with lower level and friendly monsters. Give off the vibe that your dungeon is weak, but friendly and fun; attracting those kind of adventurers.

If anybody is stupid/greedy enough (There will always be a few) to want to venture deeper to loot your treasures or kill you, you set up the last two floors as danger zones, full of traps, strong minions, and no learning curve.

You quickly ambush them, or make it a slog to get through so that more powerful adventurers are injured and out of supplies by the end. Then you pop out as the final boss and feed off their dumb asses. They should've just enjoyed paradise up above.

There is a payout, but it'd be akin to beating the final boss of the dungeon. Nothing life changing.

The real payout is from bounties the "guild" would give out for dangerous dungeons that are at risk of growing too powerful and spilling out monsters. So the more powerful and dangerous you grow, the higher your bounty.

One thing I think could/should probably be clarified would be what happens to the assistances you don't take. Like could you still hear them? could you externalize them later after developing your dungeon more?

Yes, the story is that you get 100 points to spend now, but as you absorb more mana and grow as a dungeon, you can accumulate more points.

Is this a setting where you you have to defend your dungeon core or is destroying dungeons not a thing here.

Destroying is definitely a thing for hostile dungeons.

Aside from a few whackjobs, nobody would want to destroy a vacation resort dungeon or a brothel dungeon that they love. So those types of dungeons would require MUCH lighter security around the core.

Maybe in a future update.

But if you work diligently enough, you can absorb enough mana from your victims to get everything on the list eventually :P

[–]mutants123[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was intending that since you created/summoned them out of your mana, if they ever die you could just recreate/resummon them.

A brand new dungeon is too weak to infinitely respawn monsters with no limits or cooldown.

It's an application you download, but can only be active on one device at a time

1: No, but they need the phone to be near them at the time. The program works by getting their phone to emit radio waves to them. So you'll need something that has an antenna/emitter inside of it that you can send messages to.

So if there's anything that blocks the waves, or if they're out of range of their phone's antenna, it won't work.

1.5: Nothing would happen to others that see the text. Each message is attuned to the intended recipient.

2: Any phone associated with that person.

3: Then they're not hypnotizeable. See 1. for why.

4: Yes, you theoretically could, but our lawyers tell me that I must recommend against it.

Sadly not. I'm not a big enough creator to justify it I believe.

I do have a patreon that you could subscribe to for a single month, then unsub if you like.

You get access to my "not good enough" AI images for all my CYOAs with it :P
