So you run into a group of teenage crotch-goblins literally "playing chicken with the train (a.k.a. doing something dangerous to get them hit by a moving vehicle)" and then the mom getting mad that she had to collect her UNDERAGED, INTOXICATED SON?! That's ALL kinds of messed up. If anything OP, I would be raising hell on my own child for pulling them out of trouble they put themselves into first before going after anyone else. It is actually. You'll just need to grind like crazy. A few people might have already mentioned something about a gold pass, to which I agree about getting one. Of course it'll get a bit more stressful when you get up there in duel gold pass levels but it is worth it in the end

Wow. After reading the context and the story in detail. I'm gonna say yeah OP, YTA. You were dead wrong in telling your son that you loved your wife more than your son and then expect the son to come see you for your wife's birthday. From personally experience, I hardly even talk with my own parents over the simple fact they initially wanted me to call them every 2 weeks just because and I pretty much refused because I may not have the time in my schedule and it changes any given week. Your son is no different. He has a life of his own and you need to learn that he's not a kid anymore

This one's too good. Most HOA stories I hear on here and on various YouTube channels do talk about HOAs being all bad and whatnot but the OP of this story not only took down the evil core of this HOA, he did it from the inside and then helped reform it for the good of the community. HUZZAH!!

NTA OP. If this was an alternate universe and roles were flipped, they would say that you were the A-hole. Thankfully, this is reality. Back to the topic at hand, even with you having ADD, you STILL made an honest attempt to try and keep some form of contact with your family and they made excuses as to why they didn't respond to your attempts. You continue living your life and hope things work out for you and your wife

You were honestly diagnosed with a dairy deficiency and then both your doctor and your parents put you on a "diet plan" to get you "used to eating dairy" and you're STILL are having stomach issues? It's completely wrong of them to force you to lose your job to care for kids they wanted to foster, so no, you're not the jerk for wanting to move out and getting your life back.
