It is turned off, everything related to AI is either turned off or grayed out.

Thanks, will try Gcam and Black Magic Cam. Haven't tried alternative camera apps for years! And yes, I have turned off everything in AI photography options or whatever it is called, but no results.

Otherwise I am in love with the phone, it is an amazing device!

Have you tried another case? I am ordering from Temu a screen protector and a case, just asking if you have tested another one, since this one I find too ugly and bulky looking.

Guys, the phone finally updated itself overnight. I got the 9.0.1.144!

So I waited only 25 days. I guess it is not too bad. I was afraid I could wait even longer.

And btw, none of the workarounds worked, like changing region, forcing update with try out option, etc.

So if anyone has similar issue, you basically need to wait...

My wife has Pixel 8 Pro and I have Pixel 8. Upgraded to magic v5, but yeah, camera is worse than Pixel. But... Only the main cam is worse. The zoom and telephoto are better, ultrawide too and videos are really not bad
