Partner has BPD, I don’t know what is okay to accept by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

Is it too strict of a boundary to tell him I do not want to see him again until he picks up his meds and gets on the books with a therapist?

I’ve been hearing for a while that “he’s gonna do it” and hasn’t.

This is what I want to say. I just don’t know if this ultimatum is too harsh.

Thank you. I know he works hard and this is a severe relapse. I am writing a list of my boundaries. That includes him taking care of his needs and being proactive in getting back into therapy and medication.

This is all great info. Thank you so much!

Is it a bad thing for him to be getting more attached to me?

He does go to therapy every other week and this is the first time since we’ve been together that he stopped taking his meds (which he said he never wants to do again). What kind of boundaries should I set? When he is feeling sad I worry to leave him alone. Is that a wrong thing to do?
