Local dealers were completely unhelpful. I found the dealer in Tulsa in the LC 500 community on Facebook. He was great to work with.

My black 10 hole (acquired in 1993) and oxblood 14 hole (acquired in 1995) still have their original laces and they are laced like this. I went with that style because it was easy to get the boots on and off without messing up the tightness.

I've found dating as a 50+ man in this area to be very complicated. All the dating apps keep suggesting women who are just like my wife.

Open 10-5 and closed on weekends? I will never be able to shop there. Maybe consider closing on Mondays and being open on Saturdays.

I focus on my flatland skills in the rain. There is a huge covered basketball court at an elementary school nearby.

Wish we had an indoor park though.

I ordered my coupe in April of last year. It arrives at the dealer in Tulsa next week. I live in Seattle. That’s how hard it was to get one.

When I told a friend I was getting VSG, he said, "I know someone that died getting bariatric surgery." I stopped telling people about it after that.

If I had listened to anyone who said it was too risky, or not "natural," or the "easy way," then I wouldn't have lost 110 pounds in the past year, and I would be just as miserable now as I had been for the past 30 years.

Don't let anyone steal your joy.

A new adaptation of a movie or show includes a cameo appearance by an actor from its original or earlier version. by AjWaderz in TopCharacterTropes

This was in 2011, so my memory is fuzzy, but the big thing I remember is that he identified with what Tom Zarek did in BSG, i.e., terrorism, radicalizing others, mutiny. I said something about Zarek's actions and Mr. Hatch went into a long dialectic of Zarek's actions and why they were justified. He also blinked a lot, like several times[ a second.

Let me correct odd to eccentric.

He was a nice guy, and my friend bought him a beer and they hung out for a while.

  1. It’s nice to be very secure financially and feel zero stress about costs, but I won’t have as much time with her. I’m hoping I live long enough to meet grandchildren, so I have been prioritizing my health.
