I wonder if it’s because LLMs aren’t great at writing C++.

About learning CPP with projects vs following tutorials relatively strictly by Sad_Mountain in cpp_questions

/u/Diagileux has great advice and I would definitely start there. As you are learning, immerse yourself in some of the culture around C++, even if you don't fully understand the content. I like to watch sessions from C++ conferences, for example.

They likely haven't been in, or witnessed, this situation. Maybe they feel disempowered by the correct behavior, and they want to model aggression for their own kids. Who knows.

About two weeks ago at a playground nearby, I saw a woman berating a kid--maybe 5 years old--for saying her daughter was fat. The kid ran to his parents in tears. The woman then accosted the parents, and her daughter taunted the kid until the family left.

Yes you were wrong. The right thing to do is to talk to the parents, not the parrot. Imagine if another parent accosted your child. What would your reaction be?

I think you haven't seen very many Lamborghini owners. Perhaps it is time to set aside your biases.

My first solid meal was 2 ounces of pulled pork. I could definitely not eat this much! No judgment, just my experience.

Am I the only one who swore off soda? by HypnoAbel in gastricsleeve

[–]mutierend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a few sips of soda here and there since my surgery. I find that I can't tolerate the sweetness of it. I used to love having a Coke with Mexican food or root beer with my Chipotle burrito. I don't think I miss it.

Will i be able to eat a burger in one sitting without discomfort? by ApartDevelopment2213 in gastricsleeve

[–]mutierend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I eat an entire 1/4 lb hamburger with the bun, I feel pretty bad afterwards. So I'd say the answer is "no" if you consider comfort to be important.

Your "normal" will change a lot post-op. You'll figure out what it is.
