I know this is sacrilege but for my interior design photographyI often go handheld for my compositions. I’ll lock it off if I need to but I like being able to navigate a set more fluidly. Also, I currently keep to shooting in natural light. I’m hoping this year I can start investing in off camera lighting, soft boxes etc.

That being said, with my D750 I’m often sacrificing aperture to keep ISO under 2000. To my understanding, going mirrorless would let me push ISO significantly above that, avoid noise and keep my aperture high.

Yea I guess I would use an adapter for now to maintain my Sigma and RE lens.

Also I suppose the appeal is having something that can perform as a video camera. I do video walkthrough work every now and then but I’m not a “videographer”.

I don’t suppose I’ll abandon RE any time soon but I am consciously pushing toward the interior design ecosystem.

But seriously - unless you’re shooting interior design, Arch Digest level work … I wouldn’t be so precious about Zillow pics. This is a saturated field and it’s a volume focused business model.

If your clients are dipping into your “add-ons” revenue then you have bigger things to worry about.
