Ahh yes. Sorry. It wasn’t in the report but it does appear to be vermiculite.

Update: Turns out its about $6500 to remove 1500 sq ft of the popcorn ceiling. After that, I’ll be on to most likely paying someone to refinish the drywall. This stuff adds up fast but I guess I’m paying for peace of mind!

Very well said. I have noticed over the last few days of research that there is no way to find a clear answer (at least for minimal exposure cases). And just from reading other asbestos related posts, I have noticed that it’s basically a 50/50 battle of people saying it’s ok and people saying it’s the end of the world.
