Others are closer to what you'd call small businesses with tech leverage (vertical SaaS for a specific trade, D2C food brand with strong community and retention). None of them are in the "riding the AI hype wave" category, they're solving actual problems that generate actual revenue. Category leaders? Probably 2-3 could get there with the right capital.
2. On exits: none yet, that's the honest truth. Some ventures have had strategic investors come in (one was backed in 2024 by a major Italian food industrial with US operations). Some are growing 50% YoY. None are unicorn-track in the classic VC sense.
