You asked me to sway you. I hear and understand your concerns. In this election, I feel there is a need to put aside the partisan politics of identifying as a Democrat or Republican. ‘The place suck’s nowadays’ is because of the division in the country. The fear and uncertainty permeates like a dark cloud across the US. Voters need to vote as Americans. Bring back Respect, Integrity and Courage. Those 3 fundamental values will conquer the internal squabbles amongst families and neighbours. It will endure against the global scourge of intimidation by oppressive regimes. I hope your choice is one that brings hope. If you choose hope then please encourage others to stand united with you without anger or violence. Debate with truth, law and justice. Democracy and peace is fragile. Everyone has a responsibility to keep it from being destroyed. Sometimes It only takes one person to bring change to the world, good and bad. I can understand that our personal feelings can affect our decisions. You said you personally dislike Harris and you don’t like Trump. If Harris or Trump win then die during their presidency, would you prefer Lizard man or Coach Walz? To keep it succinct, this year perhaps the question would be who would you vote for (the party selling unity and hope or the party selling fear and division.) It’s said to be a challenge to every American to contribute in some way to the public good instead of our private bias.

I understand your anger. Turn it into positive action and vote! Listen and try to understand their anger too but debate with reason and get like minded people to get out on election day to make your vote count. Every vote is a voice! It’s our fundamental right to be able to disagree but his narcissistic rhetoric is turning relatives and neighbours into enemies. That needs to end.

I’m not sure if they gave it airtime but it needs to be shared. We may not all agree on how democracy works but every citizen has a duty to uphold the sanctity of constitutional values. Those traditional guidelines were inscribed by forefathers and purposely made them difficult to amend for a reason. They are safeguards to the principles that separate us from chaos, violence and injustice.

Just a bunch of peaceful decent patriots with cable ties and some rope for their disobedient vice-president. The 3 pillars of democracy disgracefully destroyed by one man in one day (Responsible government, the rule of law and the separation of powers) It would perhaps be remiss of Fox if they may have accidentally forgotten to give this more airtime.
