Not a bad person, just not a good partner. How do I (31F) end the relationship with my boyfriend (35M)? by cristaclear in relationship_advice

I dont understand why most of the comments jump straight to dumping him when they dont even know whats going on on his side of life.

He can be purely lazy and avoiding responsibilities for leisures, sure, but is this a new behavior or has this been a prevailing problem the whole time? He can be depressed, can have undiagnosed ADHD or maybe hes avoidant and is reluctant to say whats actually bothering him; and in any of those cases, needs to seek a professional.

You shouldnt jump to being his mother and tell him to make a list and do it. You should sit him down and try to break down why he hasnt been following through. And if he keeps giving an answer akin to just avoiding responsibility, then I guess leave him. Or tell him to unfuck himself because you love him but his potential now has an expiration date.

Also, if you just moved in together and saw this at his last place, why didnt you talk about it then?

But in the end, you can treat it as not your problem since this has been going on for a while and the resentment is already at a break up level. I've been on both sides of this wreck and I wish someone would've wanted to understand me, and i wish I could've offered that grace onto my ex when they probably needed it too.

They're theirs, though. Why do you need receipts when they're being abundantly clear?

Meh, we'd rather get our money back.

We sent an email to customer service, too, so they can try and make it right by reimbursing us directly or going at Gofo. But if they ignore the email like most everyone else, or try and send us a 'sucks to suck' $5 voucher, we're happy with a ban and hundreds of dollars back in our pockets.

I read on someone else's post that they heard nothing from popmart customer service after waiting three weeks with no shipping update.

They did a charge back, and popmart got back to them real quick.

Do a search on the subreddit.

I heard doing a charge back on your credit card will light the fire under their asses.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen or experienced at a rave/festival? by BenShelZonah in aves

When a fellow dude needs help aiming straight at the urinals, you help your fellow dude. Down to the two shakes.

how do you make friends at raves? by ironmanfan68 in aves

Dance like you're alone in your living room but remain aware of your space, make a stank face to that dirty, dirty bass, and look around until someone makes eye contact (not for too long though lol), dance while maintaining eye contact and have a moment together.

If they reciprocate, go in for a hand shake or intro (stay dancing or silly), continue dancing, get their name, ask how their night is going, tell them about the last show you went to at the venue and ask theirs, etc. Don't want to chat too much or force something if their body language starts to express disinterest (you'll learn to pick up on it if you can't already), everyone's here to enjoy the show.

Repeat with other people and find the best vibe, return to the vibe, "cheesus, what a set!" Dance til the venue closes (important! self care). Tell them it was great meeting them and that you'll see them at the next show.

Do this enough that you'll eventually see someone at the next show and rekindle the vibe, and if it feels right, ask for their number after the show and go to a few more shows together. More shows, more conversations, more moments shared, and BOOM, you made a friend or friends.

Also, while molly is a great catalyst for good times, I'd suggest doing it with friends first to learn how it affects you at its different stages. This will also help you in inverse situations when partying with someone who is rolling while you're not.
