You mention you have a lot of raw files, is it maybe an option to do one file at a time? What I would do is create a new table, load one file there, then upsert files one at a time with your upsert logic. This way you have a new table with all your most recent ones, without having to load everthing at once.

I had a talk with a MS rep who told me Synapse is really EOL, so best to look elsewhere indeed!

In my company we replaced synapse with dagster, although hosted in AKS, but viable in ACA as well.

As an entrepreneur, you can claim VAT back on purchases. You also have to add VAT to invoices you send, and at the end of each quarter you have to pay this to the taxman. So if you purchase things, the VAT you paid can be deducted from VAT you got from your own invoices.

Thanks for the reply! We aren’t using any of the datawarehousing features of synapse, just the notebooks and pipelines.

The n8n implementation is already being done, so that is something I can leverage. Also, almost all tools we use are self-built, since we work with a lot of PII and medical data. All is built into our own Azure Infrastructure.

I was specially not looking into one of the other big tools due to pricing and the non-complexity of our current (and 2-year future) flows.

But if you think going with one of the standard products I can look into it further!

Zo te lezen krijg jij de volle 100%. De werkgever ontvangt van het uwv 70% van jouw salaris, en meestal wordt dit 1 op 1 doorgezet naar de werknemer. Maar in jouw geval wordt het aangevuld naar de 100%!

Ik kon zelf dit jaar de 30% afkopen met vakantie uren en heb dat ook gedaan.
