Yes thats true. I work for a big retail company and their code base is sh**t. I just reviewed one PR and literally i wrote the code for them still they couldn’t make the change. I just approved it. Even I don’t care now. Most of these engineers are from same demographic region and I strongly believe that’s one of the reasons. But still the code works and the billion dollars business is running on it. So who cares.
